Venice skates alone!

Yesterday, Venice went ice skating with RooRoo, Poppi and Daddy. She used the 'walkers' that they have at the rink for a while, but then gave it a try by herself. She did great! She definitely loves to glide on the ice.

Xander's talking more

I bought Xander a set of 6 Wiggles books for Christmas. Just days later he can already identify each book (numbers, letters, shapes, colors, etc.) and ask for which one he wants me to read. He'll pick it out, say it's name and bring it to me. Also, today, while playing outside, he came up to me and said, "Hungry." So we came inside to find a snack. Very cool.

Why I like RooRoo and Poppi

Two days ago we were driving in our car and Venice said to me, "Mommy, do you want to know why I like RooRoo and Poppi?" I said I did, and she replied, "I like RooRoo because she does crafts with me and because [pause] well, she's just nice. And I like Poppi because he drives in the car with me and does other things with me. That's why I like RooRoo and Poppi."
