Wasp Sting

Poor Venice. Got her first wasp sting tonight. OUCH! Baking soda poultice in place. Daddy reading stories to her. Calming down.

Xander is Sick

So, Xander has walking pneumonia. Ooops. We've all had a bit of a cough, and mine got better, but his didn't. It got better, then worse, then better, etc. Last night he vomited and sounded "wheezy" so I finally took him into the dr today... so he's on antibiotics now and should be fine by the weekend. Again.... ooops.

Xander's First Cocktail

I was washing the dishes after Christmas Dinner. I hear my mom yell, "Xander, NO!" I look up to see Xander putting Chris' drink back down onto the table. Phew. My mom had stopped him from drinking whiskey or burbon... but no.... what is that look on Xander's face? And now what's that coming out of his mouth? Poor guy. First the drink came back up. Then some stomach contents. Uck. I think he took a big mouthful, thinking it was just water, but found that it wasn't. Again, poor guy.

Venice wants to sit on Chris' lap

Venice is a little sick, with hives. On Benadryl, so very sleepy. Woke up for dinner, asked if she could sit on Chris' lap, he asked why, she answered, "because it's more comfortable on your lap".
